Most male models nowadays have smooth chests. Is this because having a smooth chest is one of the reasons they are chosen as models, or do they shave? I suppose what I'm getting at is, do men shave to get smooth chests or are they just naturally hairless in the old torso department?
I assume that they shave if they need to. International class swimmers are also a hairless bunch because they reckon that the hairs could slow them down.
i think the waxed chest is fashionalbe at the moment, as i said in my answers to the other hairy chest questions, bare chests are a sign of youth and youth is 'in'. womens fashion also revolves around symbols of youth. fashions change tho and the glossy mags are not necessarily representative of what people want to wear or find attractive. lots of men do have hairless torsos, lots of men stretch the definition of men in other ways too :-)
