HI my son gota job. IN the medical he did not give all the facts asked about mental illness he had but has now recovered from. How important is this. Answers greatly appreciated Keith

This is really important as if the employer finds out then they can terminate his employment without notice. It's always best to be honest from the start - half truths tend to come back and bite you on the bum! On another note, if your son has now fully recovered, any employer who shied away from him isn't relly worth working for anyway.
