Well something that his wife will think he's likely to have bought himself, so nothing too slushy an romantic, so a man's present that a man might have bought.
I buy for myself, aftershave, jewellry, clothes etc, so something along those lines perhaps? Or buy yourselves an "experience" like health spa etc for later in the year.

jelly-baby. If you and your lover are happy with what you are doing then it's not for ayone else to judge the situation as you, not they, have all the facts. I had an unhappy first marriage and had mistresses and I know it's not always all black and white, "wife is good, mistresses is bad" so just enjoy Christmas.
