So what is everyone up to tonight?

I'm staying in on my own, just don't feel like going out but quite happy to do so and could do with saving my pennies :) Will probably get the drinks out and watch a good dvd with some very bad for me nibbles :)

I'm working as a barmaid down the local pub. I volunteered the shift as there is great pressure to be social and go out. I didn't fancy going out getting drunk and spending loads either. Don't like hangovers, so it was a good option.

Hi Jenna, we were meant to be going to our local with friends but both my hubby and me have had the flu since boxing day so its been cancelled! Gutted cause im feeling a lot better today, thing is, we spent xmas at the in laws and they were babysitting!! you guessed it, now they've got it so i wouldnt dream of sending my little boy to them. Oh well, there's always next year! :-) I shall stay awake though and have a drink to see the New Year in!!
Can i take this oppertunity to wish every ABer a very happy New Year!!!!

Me and b/f are going into town to a pub that we found last night for lots of drinking and being merry. As we are new to area we did a little suss out of the area lastnight - what pubs were good and which were naff.Purely in the face of research you see!! LOL - ,and we found this great one which doesn't charge entrance tonight so we shall be there!

I'm home alone as I am in living in a new area and don't know a soul and have no family alive. The weather puts pay to dancing on Bideford Bridge and I have a dog who hates fireworks and a cockatiel who hates loud noises.....I am going to be sitting in and watching TV, cuddling the dog, talking to the bird and probably getting very drunk. But its my very own party and I'll be damned if I won't enjoy it (I invited myself to my very own party) and I am just glad that there is no more of the Andy Stewart singing about the "Ev-ver in tha' cloide" at the stroke of midnight. I'm looking forward to the end of this year and the start of a new one........so Happy New Year every ABer and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

I'm now nearly 39 weeks pregnant, so I am not going anywhere. I am going to stay in with Mr Picky and eat fresh pineapple and drink rasberry leaf tea and see if Little Picky fancies making an appearance!!

Mrs johnlambert and I used to go to the street party in Edingurgh, but that was before the sprogs came along, now we pack the kids off to the in laws and go out with friends, see in the New Year and go back one of the freinds house for a knees up.
