What is wrong with people these days?

I left for work this morning to find a boy of about 12 weeing in front of my house. His mother was just stood there watching. I said "Er exsqueeze me, what do you think you're doing?" and answer came there none so I said "Where do you live? Shall I come and wee on your front step or would that not be very nice?" and again not a peep from either and him having finished they scuttled off up the road.
Just before Christmas someone cr4pped on my front step. I mean don't people have toilets? What happened to self control and respect?

I used to live near Oakham in Rutland and it was so much nicer but I have unfortunately spent the last 11 years in South London.
It has got to the point where I sometimes have tension headaches on my way to and from work as I am often quite literally shaking with rage at people. I do try to read or listen to music but sometimes you just can't block it out.

Maybe it's just me being intolerant.

Everyone in my high street looks like they are doing strange Latin dance moves as the dodge the spit ,the doggy "treats" and the litter. Aaarghhhh. Well in case you dont know, weeing anywhere in public is an arrestable offence UNLESS you shout "RELIEF RELIEF RELIEF" three times - true (you cant be arrested then, dont ask me why!)

I hate bad manners and blame the footballers for starting everyone thinking it's ok to spit all the time. They're always doing it!
I live in a small place where I know most people and its lovely to walk down the street and be greeted with smiley faces and 'hello's'. It costs nothing to smile but it makes both the giver and the receiver feel better I think!
I love to use the manners I was brought up with. I think it shows respect and consideration for others and I appreciate it when others return the favour. I always make a point of making eye contact and thanking someone if they do something like hold a door open for me. Unfortunately, most youngsters think its uncool and prefer to revert to the aformentioned 'caveman' persona and if you're really lucky, they may even grunt a reply to any comment from you. ( After reading this I realise I'm showing my age!)

I'm showing my age also chicklin coz I'm agreeing with you lol my kids dont get chance to forget their manners coz I'm like a tyrant if they do!! Good Manners cost nothing & will always bring a smile :-) I think I'm automactically programmed now, even if I bump into an inanimate object I say sorry lol

girly, dainty, feminine behaviour and all the little rules of not swearing etc are unnatural notions invented by society, mainly men, who wanted to 'keep women in their place' and have them behave like the trophies they deemed them to be.

yes, men and women are different and behave differently in many ways, but in nature the similarities are much more prevalent

joko - I have to say, you don't half talk cr*p! You sound like a raving feminist. There's nothing wrong with being feminine, girly or dainty - that's what differentiates us from the males of the species. Why would we want to act and sound like a man? The differences between us are what make each interesting to the other. I can't believe you actually believe what you have posted on here. Are you advocating that we all turn into quasi-men? Why? We can still be strong and capable beings without emulating a man. We are strong in our own way.
