Who has had one of 'those' moments?

Last year I was sitting chatting with my six year old daughter, when she suddenly said 'Dad, what's a penis?'

I did a reasonable job of not looking like a sledgehammer had hit, and answering her honestly.

However that was nothing compared to the terror I felt when my son asked me that question every father dreads.

He was 12 at the time and not particularly sporting. We were watching the world cup when he asked 'Dad, what does offside mean?'

I remember asking my dad what a virgin was! It was in the car with my family, needless to say, he got rather stressed! (He never told me though...)

And also, it's not really a question, but when I was younger, my sister and my Dad often spoke german to each other, and the german for thankyou is 'danke'. I used to like saying danke...and making up various words to rhyme with it....little did I know my 'made up' word (beginning with w) was already a word! My dad didn't like that much either!

though the other day my friends 11yr old daughter said that i was "sexy".......
which i was quite worried about, until i found out it meant a different meaning to her, it means i'm cool
My teenage son was in the bath the other day when he realised there were no towels - he asked me to fetch him one but to leave outside the door and go away.

I replied I had seen it all before since he was a baby - his reply was - yes, but not this version !!
