aloe vera or plain bio yog
try aftersun lotion and ban anymore visits to the sunbed.
Distilled witch hazel from the chemist - soak cotton wool pads in it and rest on the skin. Also nice to keep in the fridge better cold.
devil - How bad is it? Should she get it checked out? If it's not severe, have you any vaseline in the house? It's usually something the local shop will stock. I imagine it will look quite sore for a bit! Hope she's o.k.

it's not so bad that have to take her to the doctor, it's just sore and red, she feels ok but is'nt in a very good mood!! thanks for all your advice xx
just let it settle on it's own. first time i went on the sunbeds i burnt badly - i was in school at the time and had to have two days off it was that bad. i lay in bed with a fan on me and a silk nighty LoL! there is cream that the chemist told my grandad to get me and that did work at reliving the heat, but not at stoppingthe pullings sensations when i moved or when anything touched me so really it wasn't worth the money - hotness i could deal with- maybe you could ask in the chemist see if they recomed anything? same with after suns and moisturisers and aloe vera sprays - all they did was cool the area, not stop the pulling feeling. but they might just be me being a moany ******? haha

i used the sunbed the other day for the 1st time in a few months and my back felt really prickly whenever anything touched it - i just put some baby lotion on, it's cool and it helps the skin to stay moiste and not flake which is always a good thing lol

i seriously think the best thing to do is to just to leave it alone and try and forget about it. in a day or two it should be fine :) and it's her face, not alot touches your face really.

many thanks for all your answers, you are all very helpful, she has put a lot of moisturiser on and says it feels a bit cooler, cheers xxx :)
can i just say (and i am not being rude) just looking upon my post earlier, what makes you feel old, well practically living under a sunbed can only have been a major contributer!! sack the sunbed seriously xx
Yep, sunbeds should be banned. They are dangerous and serve no useful purpose at all.
Yeah she'll be alright; the same thing happened to my friend. Just leave it and it'll be ok in a couple of days. But also would suggest not using sun beds - they are not good. I mean she's burnt her face- that's really bad.
