I know it's not very girly but my boss has said that if I go on a plumbers course he will give me all the on job training I need and a job at the end. He reckons there is a high demand for female plumbers.

Would anyone else make such a drastic job change in their 30's????

I think you have just convinced me Ray xxx
I have a plumber friend and he doesn't get out of bed for less than 500 per day, which isn't too bad. As stated though, remember you will be unblocking human turdage the size of melons from u-bends, crawling under floorboads with huge spiders and working with p!ss-sticking toilets.

All that aside, the rewards are very good.

I'm not scared of spiders, have three kids so have dealt with my fair share of p*ss and poo and am not really concerned about getting dirty or breaking my nails. So Wardy, would you employ a female plumber?
I am not an employer ummmmmmmmmmm, my dear.

But if I was, the answer is no. Men are simply better at most things than birds. Although, I am sure you will do well, in the real world women are fairly useless. Therefore, if i was an employer I would not even entertain a woman at CV stage. Unless of course i was a pimp or a domestic cleaner.

PS I am not sexist, just honest. XxX
