If you smoke canibis, for how long does it stay in your system? I.e. if you go for a urine test, how long after your last joint would they be able to detect it? What about other drugs, ecstacy for example?

According to this newspaper report http://society.guardian.co.uk/publicvoices/prisons
/story/0,12261,804985,00.html which cites a home office report in drug abuse/testing in prisons cannabis stays in the system, or is at least detectable in their tests, for 28 days whereas heroin is only detectable for upto 72 hours.

Yeah I agree about a month unless you're going for a spinal tap oh no thats acid so you're safe I hope

Depends how often you smoke it if you smoke it everyday all the time then it can stay in your system upto 6 months.If you have the odd joint then normally up to a month maybe less.Things suck as XTC and speed can show upto a month but thats not always the case sometimes it can only be a week again depending on how many you take.I had to have a drug test for work and i passed god knows how but i did and i had used drugs the week before.drink lots of water as flush all the toxins and that out of your body they can detect more by doing a blood test so if its only a urine test drink loads of water.

Not entirely sure how it works, but some drug testing techniques look at hair samples and this seems to provide a very good record of what someone's been taking... not sure what drugs you can detect this way though.
