It wouldn't matter what advice I or anyone else gave me at 17, I thought I knew it all so wouldnt have taken any notice. I'm 45 now and still dont take advice, unless I've paid for it.

Stayed on at school, which would have saved years of night-school.
Kept all my old toys, which are now valuable, because morons like me have made them rare.
Infact, wish I'd kept a diary, it would be lovely to read it now, oh to be 17 again!
Don't go to university and spend the next eight years paying off thousands of pounds of stupid debts; it won't get you anyf urther. Do a two year course in business management, learn a language and that should be enough to get you started. Then move to Europe and have a lot of fun!
stop eating sweets! and don't talk to that Austrian guy you'll meet in the Misson in Edinburgh, no matter how cute he is - it'll only end in tears. Yours, mainly.
