Hmmm, Only if you dont have a death certificate...
Also, i would check out if you need to pay more council tax if your claiming single occupancy...
Er i think yes would be the answer .... why would someone want to?
Also, i would make sure you have your electric topped up, they can smell pretty nasty if it thawed...
Leave room for the butter and milk though!
Yes, I suspect it would be, I think they have to be buried on consecrated ground, so no taking them to a beloved spot in the countryside either!!

Fred West wasn't prosecuted for storing bodies at home was he!!!

Maybe you can only store them at home if you have killed them yourself!!
You do mean the whole body dont you gerkin?
Also, i think it depends on whether you intend to eat the body. I am sure you have to consume it within 18 months.
If its ashes though i think its quite legal...
But where would you keep the postman then. They wouldn't both fit in would they?
I think actually you can. There is a thing called a writ of Habius Corpus, literally "possession of the body". If you obtain one of those I believe you literally have legal possesion of someone's remains. this occurs in cases where someone wants to be stuffed for example and not buried or cremated. You don't have to be buried on consecrated ground but there are often bye laws preventing you being buried elsewhere. I don't see that cryogenically storing someone is necessarily much different to having them suffed. ( no Cold Ethel jokes please :)
Well I keep ex-boyfriends' heads proudly mounted on my living room wall and nobody has ever picked me up over that. So a family member must be okay too.
pmsl Champagne!
i dont see any problem as long as used within the recommended freezing time.
Good point crete. I think you have to use them within 3 months. I tend to make soup. What do you do with yours?
i make delicious haggis with mine, at at xmas a fabulous stuffing for the turkey,
If you have a garden then I highly recommend putting up some spears with the heads of people who have in some way annoyed you.

Not only is this an attractive garden feature but it doubles up as a repellent for those pesky sales people and jehoova's withnesses.

And contrary to popular belief you can get used to the smell.
Maybe we've got the wrong idea!!

'deceased family member' or do you mean 'deceased member of your family'?

Because sometimes their member starts working again when you think it's died. lol
Gerkin, exactly what type of disease does the family member have?
you cannot. and post this in the legal section, youll get sum good answers in there
Can you sizzle squid and then keep it in the freezer?
Is this 'family member' the dog you are looking a recipe for in food and drink??
