i need to learn to spell can some one please give me a spelling test lol, i enjoy coming on here but not much fun when i cant spell that well . i think i will learn and come back on in 6 months . then i will have lots to say bye xxxxxxxxxxxxx or i need a spell checker

ah dont worry about it...you'll find that people will at some time or another try to correct you but so what? If that's all the excitement they got, well, whippy whoo.....

The way I learned how to spell was to make a list of all the words I found really hard or kept getting wrong (receive, deceive, weird etc etc) and just wrote them out (this is pre-computer days lol) again and again and again, like 50 times. This repetitive (another one!) action meant that either (!) my hand would automatically (!) write that word correctly the next time or my brain would spot that I'd misspelt it.

But does it really matter ? So long as you are not ambiguous and everyone knows what you mean, it's not worth worrying about, is it ?

Download the Google toolbar and use the spellchecker on that, failing that, type your answer in MS Word and copy and paste it into AB box

Well, you learn your lessons well, I can't stand bad spelling, and after you lot got rid of one of the most brilliant minds on here all I can say is, watch out. I have a report button and 45 back-dated 'Ban-the-Baboon' tokens from the Ed, valid at weekends.
