If you found a purse, what would you do ?

Twice in the last 6 months me and Mr.P have found a purse in the road, complete with money, credit cards and on both occasions, pin numbers ( one had the actual letter that was sent giving the pin number ! )

On both occasions we managed to track down the owner and return the purse, what would you have done ??

Norman, I got a plant for one ( she apologised for it not being something better as she didn't have her purse on her ! ) and nothing for the other.

Caz, I returned them for exactly the reasons you said, both had letters ( well one was a drawing actually ) signed in wobbly writing ' To Mummy '

Hi peppy in the past i have found a purse with �15 & loos change inside and i found a mobile phon and a gold necklace on those three separate occasions i handed them into the police station and i would do the same again if i found anything in the future love megan

if i was walking down a rd a found 20 pound or some thing i would keep it as it would be hard to find whos it was but if i found a purse i would give it back to owner hoping if on day i lost mine i would get mine back . my luck it would not happen . i could not spend some one elses money could be a old person .

I was in a small warehouse last year when a very large muslem man walked past me putting his wallet that was stuffed with notes into his back pocket, it fell out as he kept walking , i shouted to him and handed it back, he snatched it off me and walked away without saying a word, makes you wonder.

Peppy,I too wouldnt think of doing anything other than handing it in at the police station or finding the owner if there was I.D.in it.

Id hand it in, just as id hope that anyone finding a purse of mine would do same.

My boyfriend dropped a fiver the other day in a shop. 2 young lads behind picked it up and gave it back to him. He hadnt realised he'd lost it at all. My boyfriend was so impressed with the honesty of the lads that he gave them two pounds. he said he'd have lost it if they hadnt given it back so it was only fair to give them a reward for their honesty.
