i have been going out with someone for a very short time and but am not sure whether to continue. I think he likes me and is v. complimentary etc. but goes on about other girls being hot quite a bit and talks about some of his ex-girlfriends how gorgeous they were and how they could get any man etc. Should this be the end??

It could be that he feels he has to make an impression and he wants you to think he is a "lad". If your not comfortable with it - Dump him! Or just ask him why he feels he has to mention it then watch him squirm, Dating is sport afterall :)
