Regrets

Ok I need womans and blokes answers on this. trying to see how many people have dumped people and regretted it. To me I know lots of men that have done it and really regret it, whereas I dont know many woman who have as they seem to know they did it for a reason. So who has dumped someone and regretted it? Cant say I have.

When i was about 14 years old my boyfriend dumped me when he got back from Portugal - i was a young girl in distress...about a month later he begged me back and i accepted then a week later a ditched the b!tch!! lol.... bless my heart.

I dumped my boyfriend who was *my first* after a couple of years together. Dont regret it.

I don't regret dumping any of my previous boyfriends.

Mrwarpig did dump me and regretted it for 8 years but I wouldn't take him back until he changed, which for the most part fortunately he has:-o)

I've never regretted dumping any of my exes...not that there are a lot you understand. And when I see them now I realise just how much I don't regret it!

same as you nat I got dumped and was really upset and he wanted me back, had some car crash and realised I was the one.... so I took him back then dumped him after a day. and I meant to include any relationship even if 17, as alot of blokes I know still pine over girls from about 10 years ago.

yeah thats very true. And i suppose the first boyfriends/girlfriends are fairly important especially when you lose your virginity to them I still wonder what my "first" is up to and always hope he's doing well...bless him.

i think men regret it because (especially the younger ones) think with their willys rather than their brain.... basically...

Then they get older and realise the cant pull the same totty they did when they were early 20s and think "gosh i remember that bird i was with when i was 22, she was intelligent, gorgeous and is now a lawyer - maybe i'll give her a call and see what she's up to".

I think you're spot on. We think things through properly before we dump and so ended it for a reason and tend not to regret, blokes just think 'Oh well' at the time, the regret it

yeah defo! I've known some blokes in my time that have dumped some really nice girls! And i'm like how the flip can HE have dumped YOU!! I think its just part of the men growing up thing. We think more long-term and they think more short-term. Like MAN: "oh my god i've only slept with 3 women and all my mates have slept with 26! I need to get out more!"

lol ELVIS - i HATE shopping and i dont like bloody Heat magazine... but i do like watching Jordan and Peter on ITV2 every Thursday... so i suppose thats just as bad....
