Fruitlessly hunting heffalumps, warpig s'all your fault, you got me hooked !! where's Jenna these days, haven't seen her for ages

seekeers I havent seen jenna around in ages, I hope she wasn't being serious about the psychiatric hospital! So no luck on the heffalump front then, as I would have suspected but then they aren't indigenous to OZ. Did you lay any bait for them, I am told they are partial to haggis, but then you have to catch a haggis first and that aint easy.

By the way, it is lovely and summy here in bonnie Scotland too (for now) bet it is chucking it down by 8am!

Jumped up early to iron son's uniform for work, he left at 7am. Also I fell over yesterday, got a battered face so too sore to sleep well. Raining here on the outskirts of Liverpool. Have a good weekend everybody!

I wish there was school today. They are now fighting over a ridiculous yellow mug - both hate it, but because one has picked it up to play with, the other is insisting it's his. How many days of Half Term to go??

On the plus side, I saved some of the strawberries I gave them last night, and am eating strawberry porridge as I type. Yum!

ok I'll bite - why are you green, Bigmamma & who delivered what to whom, warpig ???

We're in South Oz, my home state, married to a Wiltshire lad
[ well he was, many years ago ] and most of the time I'm playing over on Q&P.

Don't see too many names I know on B&S but remembered warpig well- btw never seen a haggis on the run, not sporting to shoot them when served up on a platter with all the trimmings.

Where in Scotland are you, warpig ? My daughter's attending a wedding in Fife later on this year - silly girl wants to wear a rather flimsy dress, I told her wellies and a raincoat !!!

Its all changed here, mass leavings, mass returnings, people falling out etc, the usual really!

I am just outside Edinburgh so Fife is not far from the Firth of Forth (try saying that when you are drunk!!!) Actually the weather over here has been great recently , there was a twenty minute slot, three weeks ago when it stopped raining! Seriously it has been really nice here the past few weeks, maybe it will hold out for your daughter but I would put any money on it!

Beautiful morning here in Vienna, been up since 3 am because the night was so warm and humid. We`re expecting temperatures of 30�C plus, so it`s either the pool or a beer or both!

Never mind, if it's any consolation, I was in Scotland a few weeks ago and caught a rotten cold which I've been recovering from ever since. Hot weather also has it's disadvantages if it lasts too long!

Aww thanx bigmamma, I'll be fine, not being allowed out today by hubby, can't be trusted to put one foot in front of the other so good excuse for putting them up and let him do the shopping!
seekeerz, you never know your daughter could be lucky, I spent a few years of my childhood growing up in St Andrews and remember hot summers on the beach honest!!!!
