On my first lesson I went up to 60mph on a dual carriageway, he didn't bat an eyelid, so I asked him if he was bothered and he replied No you are a natural driver and to be honest I am learning from you ! Honest !
I passed years ago but it was the same nerve wracking experience !!! don't give up as you have paid for the tuition etc . You will (fingers xed ) pass next attempt . Good Luck !!!
First time for me too, but I HAD to pass as I was moving house 5 days later and needed to be able to drive 17 miles to my work. I was a really nervous driver, only did it because I had to. Just keep at it and dont give up. What did you fail on?
First time, but only because I flirted outrageously with him!
I even did an emergency stop becuase a blackbird was wandering about in the road an it didn't look like it was going to move, he looked at me totally puzzled.... should never have passed, but amazingly I did.
Don't give up, it took my mum 5 attempts, and my bf 2.
To make you feel better stacey i dont know the slightest thing about driving!!
I know you turn the wheel and pull/change the gear stick (?)...
Never really had any reason to drive, i live in central london, go out in central london, all my friends live near by so think it would be a waste of money for me. (oh and fella drives me most places!)
I got cut up at a roundabout, and had to sharply put on the brakes. I just looked over at the examiner as if to say "That's me failed isn't it", and he just told me that the bloke who cut me up was an idiot and that I was fine!
