Do you think you can tell another abers mood just from the writing on the webpage in front of you? What signifiers do you look for? Tone, vocabulary, emotional content?
Good luck!
i think sometimes you can tell the mood by the 'type' of question being asked, sometimes if i am in a mood, i can ask a Q that i am sure will get certain peoples backs up, and you know your gonna end up having a slanging match with half a dozen people, and then occaisionally i have replied with something i thught was lighthearted and funny and someones had a go at me and told me to 'grow up' or 'get a life' etc indicating that THEY are in a bad mood!
just for the record................i am in an OK mood today : )
I think it depends, once you get to know people better, it is easier to tell, I know that there are some people that email me at work that type exactly the way that they talk and you can almost hear their voice when you are reading. I think though that it becomes more difficult if you have never heard them speak.
Well Dot, things have been very, very dodgy. I've not had a computer for 2 months. It crashed and when I went to have it repaired, they kept wanting to wipe the hard drive. As you can imagine, I really didn't want them to do that. So I've been using a friends' PC and also going to the library. In the end, they wiped the hard drive, but I managed to save most of my files. So now I'm back! Woo! Hoo!
