I am constantly tired, I have been for a few weeks now, I go to bed about 10:30 most night but find I am not getting to sleep till gone midnight, then in the morning i dont want to get up - can anyone suggest anything that may help me to get a good nights sleep - have tried hot milky drinks but they make me too hot so i cant sleep even more - have also tried herbal sleep aids but they make no difference.

Thanks Chazza - I ride my bike to and from work daily and also do a 10 mile ride every other day which makes me even more tired but I still cant sleep - i though this was the initial problem so I have incresed my exercise.
I sympathise with you. Don`t laugh & this but it`s worked for me. BANANA sandwiches about an hour before bed. Bananas contain tryptophan which aids sleep.
Is your caffine level too high, try cutting down, to see if it has an effect some people just have caffine in the morning? Try to rest your mind before bed read a book, sometimes I can fall asleep if some craps on the tv , if I turn the tv off I can just lay there thinking about stuff and never sleep.
