I keep getting sharp pains in one of my breasts is this normal or should i go to the doctors?

i get them at certains times of month and also when i was pregnant.
Any change in your breast that isnt a monthly thing perhaps should be discussed with your GP or at your well womans clinic (usually held by nurses)

Donna, I really think you should see doctor, just to put your mind at rest, especially if the pains aren't related to your time of the month.

Stupid question, I know, but do you wear the correct sized bra? This could be a factor.

hey donna funny you should ask, iv been getting sharp pains for a while now behind my left breast i spoke to my gp and he told me it was trapped wind!!!

sharp pains anywhere are always worth investigating. Might be period-related, might be you've tweaked a muscle or a rib; but if they persist and are strong enough to worry you, take them to your GP.

I've always suffered from sharp pains in left breast, and according to the doctor it is quite normal. I do have a mamogram every year.

Bra's are right size, and can't find any lumps or bumps i have just recently changed contraception from coil to implant in my arm about 3 months ago.

As you have changed to an implant i think you should have a word with your doctor just to check you are not having a reaction to the implant.

How old are you? I get sharp pains in both my breasts. I had a mammogram and an ultra sound,turned out its athritis or Chosto Chondrosis as the consultant called it. See your doc DONNA.
