If I smoked (which I dont anymore) in MY shop/office with the door on closed sign. Would I be breaking the law ?? Just wondering...as I hate being told I cant do something :)

yes. Any company where the customers can enter the premises comes under the regulations, regardless of whether the shop is closed at time.

Not sure, but in connection to your question, what about on film sets? If someones character was smoking in a scene would that be allowed? A film set is a place of work after all?
