but for the last few years, maybe 5 or so I keep getting this thing in my memory. Suddenly its like I get a flashback or am reminded of something that happened when I was younger (or maybe even pastlife :-s depending on what people believe) but it will only be for a split second and then GONE! but it never stays long enough for me to actually work out what the memory is of or when it was from. It must be triggered by something, maybe something related to the memory, all i can describe it as is something being in your mind and then disappearing and not being able remember what it was, like you've forgotten something.
its really bugging me coz I cant manage to work it out...... any body else have something like this or am i just weird???

Thats what I mean cockneysi it isnt long enough for me to work out what it is all about, im just assuming that it may be about something from my childhood....
it like i get a split second reminder about something but it doesnt stay long enough to fully remember what it is im being reminded of.
And no, no history of epilepsy, why?

My sister had exactly as you described. She did go to her GP,had the full tests/scans,and it was diagnosed as a form of epilepsy due to a head injury she incurred in a serious car accident when she was 2.Her R temporal lobe was damaged. She is fine -it is managed by medication - when necessary -she isnt on it permanently but has to when she starts having 'episodes' again.
Have a word with your GP -if only to put your mind at ease.
