I think some like to feel dominated.. but only in the physical sense.

As for Rod Stewart... I think it's a bit more of a case... long legged tall blondes make him look cool???.

My dad is Rods age, sadly he has not pulled a girl like Penny or his previous conquests since he was in his teens!!

Because he can? He is a pop star and therefore can have (or could have) any woman. so he went for the dream girl cliche. Leggy blonde model. Shame he only looks as far as externals. Maybe if he went for what was inside rather than outside he would have avoided 7 failed marriages to women who all look the same!
