When you were young what crazy sayings did your parents have that even though you hated back then you know you will use on your children? If I'd hurt myself I'd say to mum it hurts when I do this� and she'd say 'don't do it then' lol

...if I ever dared ask what was for tea ( you get what your given ) the reply was alwayd " friend snails on toast"....

...and when I asked my dad "whats my belly button for?"... he would always reply " it's for holding the salt when you eat chips in bed"...where the hell did he get that one???? ( and yes I did use it on my daughter when she was little - just for the sake of tradition ofcourse)...

if we found a frog in the garden my mum would always say " just you be careful not to show it your teeth...if it's a toad your teeth will turn to wood! "

I don't actually remember any that I considered crazy. THey did have some cute sayings though, up the wooden hill to bedfordshire etc etc.
