I was enjoying my first lie in for 2 weeks, been doing temporary morning driving job.

At 8 am the @rsehole next door started his petrol grass strimmer.

Are there sufficient gounds for manslaughter.

Doc! What about waiting until they're chilling later, all tired from their early morning domiestering. Then get out a nice rock song, put the speakers in the garden....and have a little dance. : )

Wait until its a hot and sunny day all the neighbours family wash is out on the line and then have a bonfire or a nice smelly BBQ (use kippers for the barbie) if its hot they'll have to shut the windows and sit in a sauna and their washing will stink for weeks.
Another suggestion is a 2 second burst of an electric drill on the party wall - about 3am - keep all your lights off and if asked swear you did not hear a thing.

Doc I think giving them back a taste of VERY early morning mowing is more justifiable. Playing loud music, they might enjoy it. :-)

Agreed with O'Reilly, try the BBQ trick. Particularly one of those cheap, one time use throw away ones.

They'll love that behind their fence on a beautiful summers evening with their windows open.

well how different you all feel who is missing a lie in, i told you before nightshift we get this all the time, but i didnt get any sympathy apart from getting earplugs, and was told to live with it!!!

It's not something I would do but some a**hole down the road from me does it on a regular basis and it really gets up my nose (literally!)
