Forgot to mention, my mates son, of age 13 did a similar stunt but involving some prima coil and blowing up the shed.

I would not be happy either. Not only has he wasted lots of matches, damaged your lawn and nearly set fire to your swing seats, he could have burnt himself.

May I suggest a cat-o-nine-tails and no pocket money for 5 weeks.

He looks like a decent lad, but arsonists come in all shapes and sizes.

Be strict before now before your local schools and community centres start becomming firebombed!!!

if that was my son he'd have his backside tanned and be dragged down to the local fire station to watch some of their video footage. And i dont mean the namby pamby stuff that they wheel out for school children!

He may think that its just a laugh, nothing serious, but then the teenagers in my town were 'just having a laugh' when they set fire to the bin store of a family home. The only reason the mum realised her house was alight was because she woke to feed her 5 week old baby in the middle of the night and heard them laughing outside! She looked out of window to see what noise was and saw them pointing and laughing at the flames lapping up the wooden cladding of the house.

Im sorry sleepy, but i think you need to nip this behaviour in the bud by any means necessary.

I knew a lad with learning difficulties who once stood by and did nothing whilst his mate set light to an empty farm building. There was no leniency - he got six months and oh boy, did that teach him a lesson!

My Dad was a Fireman, I am with redcrx on this one and I'd post the link to his education psychologist too!!!
One of the local kids got juvee for being there when the scout hut was torched t: he others ******** off and left him!!! He copped the lot for it !! Can't you get him interested in less harmful science and reactions somehow?

I havn't looked at the link, but is it one of those things they do now copying the jackass type of daft trick? people get hurt doing that. he needs a talking to if he thinks he is going to make a name for himself on you tube posting that kind of stuff, it is oputdated now and not cool
