Strange light in the bristol sky on friday 11 august

No meteor shower on friday night. the sky was very cloudy.
A big round light was howering slowly at low alltitude without making a sound.
It was not a plane, we have tried to film it but without success as my son was shaking so much with shock.
Has any of you experienced or seen that light ??

Hiyaa! goodsoulette!
No it was around midnight, pitch black and very cloudy and this light was under the sky, first i thought it was a plane but we did change our mind quickly cos we never saw a light like this before.

Space station & shuttle have been visible...maybe that was it?

More than likely the space station, it was visible several times last week.

Seems there were strange lights up here too only on Saturday night not Friday!
