Pre Menstrual Tension.

When the fairer sex "suffer" from pre-menstrual tension are they actualy aware they may be a little steamed up and thus best not crossed? In other words are they conscious their fuse is short?

Also, if they put a little red star in their diaries/calenders to indicate when the painters and decorators are arriving, do they also put another sign to indicate when PMT is likely to occur?

Well the ladiesin this house don't do PMT as such ... one suffers from it 24/7 (being a teenager might explain some of that !) and the other one would look terribly hurt and then slug me if I said any more !

It depends how organised they are. I always know from my diary when my 28th day is, but usually I find myself feeling spotty and emotional, and then go "OH!!!!! I remember why I feel like this!!" and suddenly everything makes sense. My sister on the other hand becomes a horrid nagging short tempered cow-bag, and NEVER knows when she is about to get her period. I ask her if she is hormonal and she says no idea- and 2 days later she gets her period and all is explained. So, I think the answer is no; women don't realise that they have turned into the she-devil, at least- not straightaway.

I do know I am 'on a short fuse' I therefore warn my partner that I may be snappy and a trifle short with him for the next few days before AF is due (forum talk for period meaning Aunt Flo). He doesn't necessarily stay out of my way, but he understands why I have snapped his head off for not doing that job I telepathically sent him via my brain waves :)

I feel sure you will be inundated with abundant replies from PMT type women and those men suffering too lol

I don't believe in PMT and I'm female. have terrible pains,headache,heavy bleeding,sore back etc during my period but before hand there is no bad feelings.Just in people's imagination
