Ok, last night I went out with E, L and J. We met up with S, her boyfriend M and his mate A. S has been with M about 8-9months. Her relationships normally last about 2months as she loses interest. S was all over M's mate A and she had previously told me she thinks A is far more her type and she finds him very attractive. She was holding A's drink for him when he went to the loo. Then she kept searching for him and asking every one where he was. I spent most of the night chatting to M and keeping him company as he was just standing on his own as S was kind of blanking him. He is a really decent guy and I find him so funny. I do find him quite attractive too but that's besides the point. Anyway.. after chatting to M for ages I ended up kissing some other guy and M went up to his girlfriend S and said 'I thought I was making good ground with K and then she goes and kisses some guy'! (K is me). Now does anyone else find this a weird thing to say to your own girlfriend about one of her mates? S came and told me he said it and she wasn't laughing or angry.. she said it normally like he was being serious! She is one of those girls who when you dance with, she gets a bit close and very flirty and for a friend it's just a bit weird.. Anyway... me and E left early to go get food and go home.. Then M rung me from S's phone asking where we were and M and S came and met us. Then after getting food S was chatting up one of my ex boyfriends and M was chatting to me and he even took my mobile number. He text me this morning at 4am and I text back at 9am when I woke up. It was just a jokey message about the night though. Does anyone else think this is weird? Also I am starting to think they might be swingers or something!
I have only met him 4-5 times before and always got on well with him. The first night we met I kissed his mate A. Lol. But me and M got on very well that night too and had good chats while S kind of flirted with A.
now don't get me involved in this or else i will have to read the question, if he thought u were funny but still enjoyed your company that is a positive thing, because men don;t usually like 'funny' women. i believe that to be true.
Nah I don't at all Dot. The guys at my work would completely disagree. I have heard them say many times things that would make that statement seem false.
Well John, it looks like a question to me! For future reference, the questions would be the sentences that end in full stops and the other bits would be the story I am asking for comments on. Come on John.. keep up.
Ruby, without getting into an arguement most people keep the question to one or two lines, a lot of yours make a couple of paragraphs and as at least one other person has said, you make yourself sound like Vikky Pollard (sp)? with all your he said/ she said
A usefull mnemonic we used in the Army was K I S S or K eep I t Simple Stupid
John, with little due respect, I believe in painting the whole picture. Some people on here post things like 'i slept with my friends man, what should I do?'!!! Now to me, that's a pathetic attempt at a Q and if they were really concerned or wanted advice, it wouldn't be a one liner.
A little mnemonic I like to use is: DRITS - Don't Read It Then Stupid
