Confused about my cycle!!!
I have been keeping track of my cycle for the past 3 or 4 months. All the websites I've been on say that based on a 28 day cycle, you ovulate 14 days after the first day of your period. However, my cycle seems to be around 32 day, so would I still ovulate after 14 days or would it be after 16 days???????

The Docs assumed I had ovulated 14 days after my last period (they would NOT listen to me when I told them how irregular my periods had been before the Pill. I'd come off it and only had one Pill free period before I got pregnant, so they were still going by the 28 day cycle).
Turns out I had fallen pregnant nearly 5 weeks after my last period!! And yet, with my son, I came off the Pill, had a period, started trying and had painful boobs and pregnancy symptoms in a fortnight!! Go figure.
Do you get any pain shortly before a period? Some people say they can feel the ovulation!
If you are trying for a baby, in my personal opinion, just keep with the sex. If your ovulation is "outside normal cycle" then you may miss it by only trying on the days you think you are. Do you know what I mean? Good luck, if you are trying. I hope you can figure it out.

You are right about those ovulation calculators being different, i have done it and they give you different dates all the time! Personally i know when i'm ovulating, i get pains in one or both sides where ovaries are. Just being aware of your cycle can work as it did with my first.
I have heard that taking your temp and checking for cervical mucus is the best way to tell if and when you are ovulating.
But you could just have sex all the time and it might just happen!
good luck
