Just to get me post rate up a bit...
What job do you do and what job job would you have if you had a choice?
I am a spiritual teacher (may sound strange). I'm happy doing what i do, and i wouldn't want to become anything else.

No, i can't describe myself as that. basicly i teach people how to do things like, meditate, heal, understand themselves better, etc.
More of a teacher rather than spiritual teacher.

Im a carer, looking after the severly demented elderly and I Iove my work so I would stay being a carer. I cant think of anything I would rather be doing.

I am a cat slave.

My job is to wake up hourly during the night to entertain the master and mistress.

I have to ensure they have lots of Felix throughout the day.

Groom them, clip their claws and ensure that their 'bathroom' is cleaned out.

Water should be left running as it is preferable to drink out of taps to drinking water from bowls.

I also have to entertain them and break up sibling fights.

Some times I get to go out and work, unpaid work, in an Oxfam shop - but the cats ration the amount of hours that I have to myself.

I have worked with children before now, mainly aged 6 to 10.
Wolf, i've got two cats and they love fuss. They often come and wake me up to go outside or to come in again.

Im in nursing too bigmamma, am newly qualified, and I work in the local ITU. I love my job, but I would love to be a magicians assistant.....................or a chocolate taster............
or a city banker.............or a waitress in a cocktail bar.

Well done on qualifying topbird , I did SRN general , then Midwifery , and then Neonatal Intensive Care , which was where I last worked before having to give up due to bad health. :-)

bigmamma, what a fantastic career you have had (I feel quite humble now!) I worked in A&E as an auxilary for years, and decided to do my training as I was getting frustrated!
