legend do u have an email addy???? u intrigue me, can i have it????
You commented that words should be spelt as they sound........those individual phonetic sounds spell 'fish'............so, logically, where should it all end if we are to follow your plea for homogenised spelling ?

Or perhaps we could agree to all use the common agreed standard-type spelling so beautifully used by generations before us ?

I guess as I was trained as a simultaneous translator, I have great respect for language. I hate it when people write the way you have in this post ab-user, as it really isn't easier to read. I find it a very lazy and disrespectful treatment of the beautiful English language. I know we all misspell things occasionally, but this is taking things too far. The shortening of words when texting on a mobile isn't so bad, as it can help write a lot more in one text message, rather than having to do two. But on the answerbank I feel we should use correct English and not show disrespect for our language. I remember being confused by a huge sign in a shoppong mall in Florida that read " 2-4-1". When I asked what it meant, I was told it was a "2 for the price of 1" offer. Now, just how lazy is that???
