GHD vs KODO
10 Answers
I was about to purchase a pair of Ghd straightners, when I began to read on the web that the brand new Creative Kodo straightners outperform any other and are said to be the best on the market. Anyone any suggestions?

However I also have Kodo straighteners of my own and in my opinion I think they work just as well as GHD's or even better. Also there have been certain reports that some GHD's have went on fire. Kodo straighteners are bout 10-20 cheaper depending on where you buy them from. You can get a pair for about 80 from Sally's.
GHDs! It will be one of the best investments you ever make. My impossible hair is sorted out beautifully with these and after having bought and returned several GHD wannabes including Kodo, I have to say the real thing is the best. For how amazing my hair looks after I've used the GHDs on it, I can safely say I would have been happy to pay double what I did for them. No contest!
There is only one GHD brand and all good outlets will sell the real thing. On Ebay look out for the sellers' feedbacks.
Perhaps most important, look out for the words 'like GHDs', 'as good as GHDs', 'ceramics with GHD technology' etc. as these will be imitations and not nearly as good as the original.
I bought mine from this seller on Ebay:
