If a person was born a man and at a young age had a sex change operation and offically/legaly became a woman - would they be 'allowed' to enter a Miss World competition?

I would think the answer would be yes.
I am not too sure actually, but I think it would cause a lot of disagreements, especially if they won!!
I am aware that this has caused difficulties in a sporting sense where previously being a male has been a hinderance to some transgendered people competing, surely it would only be a disadvantage to be born male and can't in anyway have given a edge? Why wouldn't they be allowed to compete?
I think they would have an unfair advantage as most Miss World contestants look like drag queens or transexuals.
Who gives a monkeys?
I don't know, but if I find out I'll report them to the RSPCA. You should never give a monkey a ?. they are a choking hazzard.

Concerns transsexuals and the Olympics.
I thought transsexuals were already competing in the Olympics rowing sport - cockless pairs.
I'm sure that there was an incident about this a while ago where a beauty contestant was found to be secretly a man and *she* was chucked out the competition...
This jhas happened b4 and if I remember rightly she/he was disqualified
Is there not an issue that even after the surgical proceedures are complete the person still cannot legally change gender ie birth certificate cannot be amended to denote change? Not sure..anyone out there know?
