Temazepam = its sole use is as a sedative

Diazaepam = lower in strength, and altho a sedative is also a muscle relaxant {often used for muscle spasm}
Am i right in thinking that these drugs are both a form of valium??
i thought valium was a brand made out of them
well.... I've just taken another 2mg of Diazepam and it's not taking the pain away....
I don;t think they are painkillers are they? I use co-dydromol for pain
Hi dot hawkes. I thought it was the other way around????
No, not pain killers. Muscle relaxants, on top of Baclofen.... I've got tramadol and pure codeine for pain and they give me tummy ache badly....
I rarely give in to Diazepam, but not today :) xxx
no valium is a brand name for diazepam, like Panadol is a paracetamol

Anything from the " Pam" family is a tranquilliser.
Diazapam.
Lorazapam
Temazapam etc.

These are the generic names for them. Diazapam= Valium.
Lorazapam= Ativan
Temazapm= Restoril. All can be used as muscle relaxents.
