I know someone (male) who when they were 13 was caught on cctv pleasuring themselves while touching a younger boy of about 8. This person now has a new son. How much of a risk to the baby would you think this person would be.

Would you say they were a paeodophile in the making or something else?

I'm sure the bloke in question now bitterly regrets his actions at that age. We're all curious at that age, it's just unfortunate that he was caught on camera.

It's nothing at all to be worried or scared about with regards to his parenting skills, and I think it's terrible that anyone would think that it might be a concern.

No, I didn't. However they reckon many people flirt with homosexuality in their teens, but return to the straight and narrow pretty quickly. ( I'm not talking about full sex acts)

most boys of that age are very immature and childish, remember they do not mature as the same rate as girls.
therfore he would not have realized what he did was wrong and was experimenting and finding out about his sexual feelings and body functions. i expect this young man has grown up and become a respected normal human being, and wouldnt expect him to be a threat to children.

Perhaps if he was 17 or 18 at the time and the boy was 5 years younger, I would say there is an issue. But at 13 years old I don�t really believe there would have been particular malintent.
