whoopee!!!!........got offered new job today managing my own kitchen. Not bad for a shuffling, pensioner who should smell of wee.....lol! (see my post from last night) Yeah-I know it is not a question but I am so excited!!!

Well done and good luck in your new job . i am pushing bus pass age myself but due to ill health can't go to work anymore ..but I wish I could . I loved work and I did pay my taxes ! It amuses me that people see us older folk as past it and only wear dull colours and are supposed to smell .And shock horror ...I have pierced ears at my age ....disgusting ! And I walk about with a tattoo ...but nobody can see it ...double disgusting ...Gawd I am such an old slapper and so common as muck you wouldn't believe it :)))
This is all tongue in cheek of course for the benefit of those who think that anyone over fifty is past it and incapable of enjoying life !! Mentioning no names of course .

well done you!! I will be working until I am 75 at least health permitting, no doubt about that, I won;t be doing anything as tough and grueling as managing a kitchen, no sir not a chance!!!! all the very best!

I'm not quite to pension age yet but I think I work harder now than I did when I was younger and I reckon I'll still be there when I'm in my 70s - if I get that far!

Because legend007 I prefer to keep that sort of thing between myself and my husband and do not feel the need to bare my soul or sex life on here . ...but of course my pierced ears offend certain people which is why my answer was soooo tongue in cheek .According to big ears anyone with a piercing is as common as muck .And if you are old and have something like that you are even more common ..but of course this is only The World According to Doctor Dobloodylittlebutmakeapratofyourself .
