Just wondered why so many regulars on AB seem to have no other social life other than to sit here and talk to strangers!

I must be a bit dim really, I started looking here for crossword help and never clicked on any of the other links but when I did I found a delightful sense of humour abounds. Avon have a message board but generally speaking it is depressing with loads of negative subjects and comments - not to mention drama queens and attention seekers. I like it here.

Quite a few of us found answerbank the same way as you avonlady and it can be very amusing at times. Ice-Maiden it fills in a few hours for me when I can't get out, as you probably know from past questions there are quite a few people with various disabilities and we get a lot from answerbank.

Thank you all. I was just interested to hear what first brought people to this site. I stumbled upon it by accident a few days before I joined - and made a hash of it because of my behaviour. Won't go into all the details, but I'd had a saddening dreadful week, which made me think life wasn't worth living. I'm now trying to make amends - and yes, I enjoy reading what people have to say, whether good or bad.

To read what everyone else has to say leelapops! When I've got a bit of spare time I find it interesting to see what others think of this and that. Some answers are brilliant, others useful, many funny - but all welcome. x.

I come on here to give me some light entertainment, it makes me chuckle at times and, sometimes i read a post and want to give some sound advise, cos many a time i can relate to the question/problems. AB keeps me going at work, i still get my work done mind you, and i just enjoy looking at others opinions and sharing them with each other.

Also i find i have a pitcure in my head of some of the users, which i like to keep to myself! lol :-)

I dont come one here at home either just at work, sometimes ill think at home ik wonder whats going on but the kids at home, get me side track so i dont bother.

I dont care what any one looks like either but i have a VERY vivid imagnination and it play wonders with me, so i cant help but have wired pictures of peoples faces in my head
