Restoring faith in human nature...
20 Answers
Tonight I was on my way home from work, waiting for public transport - it was raining and someone who was stood close by with a golfing umbrella asked me if i'd like to join them to keep out of the rain.
The person didn't want anything, it was just a nice thing to do....what has (if anything) restored your faith in human nature lately?

Haven't had any fab encounters recently, except when I was working Friday night, and met some young people who I hadn't worked with before, and who were lovely.
When I walk my dog, I meet some lovely fellow dog owners, and they always make me smile :)

A few weeks ago on a hot day me and my 4 yr old son were in a petrol station buying an ice cream each, i only had a couple of quid on me and thought i had enough for 1 each, when i went to pay i was about 40p short so i said i'd put mine back. A bloke behind me said dont worry i'll buy them for you! I told him thanks but not to worry, but he insisted, so i let him. He didnt even want the money i had. It was just genuine kindness and made me feel very happy for the rest of the day!
Its the little things that make a big difference, i was at the petrol station the other day and i saw someone waiting behind me so before going to pay i moved the car forward a bit so they could get to pump. I was surprised how grateful they couple in the car were, saying that no-one ever does that and it was so nice of me! Everyone feels happy!

My other half did something the other day.He was walking to the train station when a guy,who was standing next to his car, asked Mr HK if he could change a tenner for parking. He didnt want to leave his car cos the warden was about.Mr HK took the tenner into a pub and changed it for him. He`s got a very honest face.

Or as cazzz1975 said, maybe you were pick-pocketed. Still got your mobile? ;)

...I'm a big believer in karma,
today a customer where I work was looking for a copy of Dolly Parton's 9-5 (her daughter wanted for school....I have no idea why????).... anyway we didn't have it on any compelation , so I suggested she download it from the internet, she said she had no access to a PC.... so tonight I have downloaded it, and copied it onto a disc for her...it took me less than 5 mins....
....if I'm leaving a pay and display car park early I always give my ticket to somebody who's just arrived.....
... a young lad who was soaked through , lost, friends deserted him, had lost his mobile and wallet after a local music festival was walking along the road at 8am on a sunday morning, I stopped and drove him 10 miles home to his very gratefull mother....
