I want to win a million pounds.

I have some premium bonds and on the first of every month there are 2 million pound winners, plus some �500.000 & �100,000 & �50,000 winners. The night before the draw I cross my fingers, look for black cats etc and wish and wish but its never happened ( yet) I have won a couple of �50s. What I want to know Are there any lucky people on here. I am talking about winning things not about lucky in love etc. Is there anyone out there who has won amounts that has changed their lives.

not any big wins, but a year on the lottery, twice a week, and i would say i am around �200 in profit :)

Oh I don't know about that. Did you see in the paper about the woman who won 30 odd million on the Euro lottery. She is still living in her sister flat, driving her sisters old banger and going to Macdonalds for meals. So she may well be on AB as she seems to be at a loose end.

I can assure you to give up work, buy a nice place, nice car, nice holiday, a new wardobe and a decent Rolex watch, you will need a lot more than a million.

I reckon to live comfortably you'll need about 3.5 million. I've not won anything on the lottery (oddly enough!) but my friend's uncle won 5million about 2/3 years ago- lucky git!

I had dribs and drabs of small bonds and won �25 over many years. I gleaned from somewhere that a large purchase of �1000 was likely to at least pay out the equivalent of putting it in a savings account so when a bequest came my way I did that. Over the next ten years I won precisely nothing with it - or the others either - so I gave up and cashed the lot in when the need for a new kitchen came along.

Just checked my bonds this morning I've won �50.

Im not lucky myself, but i work with a girl who's parents won �3.8 mill on the lotto about 8 years back.
We always give her out syndicate to get but as yet have only won 3 numbers!!!

Her mum and Dad STILL play the lotto too.
Her mum is a avid bingo player too and she wins most weeks, and im talking like �400 at least when she does.

I have always said money goes to money!!! :-)
