I don't know why this weekend seems to be so lonely , I usually never get lonely but I am sat here in tears , for no reason other than I suddenly realised that I haven't seen another human face for nearly 2 days . Have you ever felt totally alone ?

Invisible, I am glad to hear things are looking up for your daughter, inasmuch as she is getting meds now. I do feel for you, and her, though, and as a 21 year old I know how important it is to have a close support network. I remember you talking about your daughter when her breakdown happened: did you say she left Uni? She must feel very isolated, particularly if she isn't working or studying at the moment. Are there no night classes she could try? Or local clubs? What is she into? X

Hi bigmamma - I'm a bit late, but I wasn't on here last night & have just noticed this thread.

I'm so sorry you felt a bit down & tearful last night, but nice to know there were lots of other AB'ers sending you caring kind words.

Believe me we've all been there & even though I have a loving husband, daughters, grandchildren & friends, I can still get times when I feel like you did last night.

Hi Bigmamma,

How are you feeling today? As a lot of people have said, we all feel lonely and tearful now and again. I've felt like that so many times in the last few years. I live alone with my 2 cats for company but you obviously can't talk about things with them. Theres no easly solution to this but as you say AB is good for a chat and a laugh.
