same name as ex

due to the fact that i have the same name as my boyfriends ex girlfriend should i be worried that maybe he only likes me because of the fact we share the name....
he tends to talk about her frequently and keeps downing himself afterwards and saying sorry because she was in his past and he is tryin to let go....i tell him that with him talking about her and all the things she did wrong it jst lets me know on what i can do more right....
does that make sense or should i approach it differently...

i doubt he only likes you because you both share the same name, but it also sounds like he is not quite over her yet, maybe give him a bit of space to get over her?

Don't worry about it, dejucrazy55 is a really common name, I'd be surprised to find someone who hasn't gone out with some one called that!

my mate was saying lastnight about a boy she really likes at the moment but we worked out if she got with him and ended up getting married she'd have the same name as a right minger from town

ive been out with 3 guys that had the same name. At no point did i go out with them purely because they had that name.

i give him his space but usually when i do give him his space he still comes around to see me at work and wait for me outside til i get off so we can hang out and talk
also i guess it is common to have the same name
ive dated two guys witht he same name before
maybe im jst being paranoid because i dont want to lose him

Really don't worry about it, like you say yourself, going out with two people of the same name is quite a common occurence. He may still talk about his ex but I'm sure he doesn't see you as a replacement. (I'd be more worried if I looked exactly like her, although that happens quite frequently too I believe!)

A girl I worked with called Lorraine had a lovely boyfriend who had her name tattooed on his arm. I mentioned how sweet it was, and she told me that his ex was also called Lorraine..and the tattoo was done 4 years before she had met him!
