Afternoon , what would be termed a lie in for you , what time would you be getting up and say you had slept late ?
For me I consider I have got up late and had a lie in if it's gone 9 as I don't work .However , today I don't know what happened , but I had a lie in and the first I knew it was just gone midday !!! :-) x

Hi bigmamma :0)
I'd say 8.00am is a lie in for me.
Hi BM,

Work days I usually get up at 6.30 and start work at 7.30. I've been signed off sick by my doc recently and since then I've been getting up around 10. I don't get to sleep until 3 though. The cats usually jump up and meow at me for their breakfast :-)
cazzz,my son is 10 years old and has Asperger Syndrome,he has only recently gotten out of the habit of disrobing whenever he feels like it,he still walks round in his underpants though and has to be forced to put clothes on.He will always come down from using the toilet half naked too.It can be quite embarrassing for other people but we are used to it.:-)

Don't worry cazzz , it didn't seem strange at all , kids love the freedom from clothes . :-) xx
Daffy , another early riser , :-) x
lol daffy, kids eh!! ya gotta love the little lunatics!!
Had a lie in until 7.30am , had to get to work as i'm a carer and the old boy needs a hand to get up . But off next week as he is going in to respite care , doubt if I will have a long lie in as I seem to have a built in alarm clock !!!! But I will give it a go !!
As I get up betwen 5 and 5:30 am for work each day anything past that is considered sleeping late. I get up between 6 and 7 on the weekend, but have been known to take a nice nap in the afternoon.

Glad you are feeling better Big Mamma.

Hello skyep sweet , hope you are well. :-) xx
Tiggerblue , a 6.30 wake up is early , not so good in the cold winter mornings . :-) Get well soon .x
Daffy , your son sounds cute :-) x
Theonlyone , heres hoping you manage to get a well earned sleep in while your " old boy " is in respite. :-) x
EngTeach , boy that is early , middle of the night in my book ! I like an afternoon nap too love :-) xx
Before I had my son I never slept in late anyway and I'd always wake up early at the weekend as well but I would kill for a lie in til 8am :) Just once!
Hi bigmamma - how are you?
I have to get up by 6am during the week so 8am would be a real lie in for me. Having said that the cat usually wakes me up well before - it was 6.30 this morning which is why I'm one of the early to bed ones!
Question Author
Hi Hellibobs , children are little human alarm clocks aren't they :-) x
I am feeling a lot better thankyou bensmum , gosh you would have to go to bed early to be up for 6 :-) x
Wow - it's so nice to know that other people have to get up at the crack of sparrows, too! I'm usually up at 6 during the week (the cockerels wake me as soon as it's light, bless 'em!) as I have to sort out the animals before I leave for work and that's usually about 8 to 8.30, depending on where I'm going. Today, I slept till nearly 10. am, when K. Jnr. brought me up a cuppa - he said he thought I needed the rest, love him. Must admit, I've been shattered this week, driving all over the country. I haven't even been out today - just slobbed around the house & took the dogs round the fields this afternoon - lovely!! K xx
hi kleiber, hows the new job hon?
