Spock has a point. What happens is that a few people get elevated to positions of impossible perfection - Andy Hughes is the classic example, and now Village Vicar - to that extent that ANYTHING they say will be sycophanted over.

Give them a chance to be themselves rather than a gooey icon ?

Handbags at dawn. My point is that 'you' (whoever you are) take a few people and imbue them with almost mystical goodness and you sycophant and goo interminably. It reaches the point where *anything* they post gets fawned over as utter truth.

I post rubbish and am happy to admit it, but I don't brown-arse.
