I need a hug

Some of you may already know about my cat cleo from Animals and Nature....I have already posted on there tonite .The vet called me with her test results earlier and she has cancer. Inoperable by the sound of it,and will just be a matter of keeping her comfortable for whatever time she has. I am wailing...please can I have a hug from someone?

pastafreak, I am genuinely sorry to read your news. Being from a family of cat lovers myself I can really emphasise with how you feel. Our family cat lived until she was 21 and we were heart broken when she died.

Please accept a hug from one cat lover to another, I think you sound like a lovely person and hope when you feel a bit better you take some comfort in the fact you've given her a happy and comfortable home.

Oh thankyou,tickled,wee-al and beads..I needed those hugs. Am still feeling snuffly and the sadness hits me every time i look at my moggy....she is only 5yrs...that is the shocker. Thought I would have her for ages. At least she is happy in herself still xx

a few months now
somedays hes lyin in the sex shop window on a fur rug
other days you dont se him
but you get a sense of companionship and they are good company .

pasta freak, u poor luv. my pretty angel died of liver failure after 18months of getting a wee bit better, she stopped eating, and started howling in the bath, it broke my heart and it stil does now, she was put to sleep 3 days later and i still get upset, 4 years later as she was a huge ball of fluff with a little tooth hanging over her mouth.

she`ll be fine, just act normal, we did, and it made it a bit easier.

Awww (((((((((( big hug )))))))))) pastafreak. I used to have a cat when i was little, he used to sneak into my bed every night and snuggle down next to me , i loved him so much and was gutted when we lost him. They give you so much and ask for nothing back. Thinking of you x x

Awww Pasta - I'm so sorry to hear about little Cleo.

I know what you are going through. My cat Snoopy had to be put done because he had kidney failure a few years. He was put down on my birthday and I was absolutely devastated. I had him for 15 years and I was so lost without him. Time does heal though and I've got photos and memories of him.
