I have decided to be more accepting and tolerent of different species and cultures.

To eradicate any vile racist-fuelled anti-Welsh agenda that may have encrusted my usually cordial outlook on life, can somebody, ANYBODY, please tell me just how wonderful the Welsh really are?

Examples of their greatness and deserved right to be kept on their British penisular in peace, without ill-will, prejudice or conjecture will be regarded as truthful testomony.

Not a big fan of CZJ. She was OK in the Buds of May thing, but stardom got in the way and she became too big for her knickers.

they have beautiful scenery and stuff.....and towns, they have nice towns. There's a lovely chip shop in Aberdare too so on that fact only they have made the grade in my book

My step granny came from Aberdare. I can still pick out the accent from this area in a sentence.

We always seemed to be seated next to the Welsh at corporate events and latterly, on our hols. Speak as you find I like them tho I'm sure they couldn't care less if I do or not. I have known 2 types; nice but dim or loud and liking a drink or 20. I wont mention where the latter crowd came from in case this all rings a bell to some , but they were great company, worked hard, were happy and content (sloshed or not) and I quite miss them. Some crazy memories (and photos) exist of their ability to party.

And just to put the record straight - a mixed group managed to drink a certain bar dry (official) in Dublin. As we worked for an English company - England got the credit (?) But it couldn't have been done without the Welsh!

I dont think you can beat their lamb either.

I like the Welsh very much. I went for a weekend recently to Llandeilo, in a Welsh-speaking area. Everyone was extremely friendly, and I don't think that was just because I was Scottish.

By the way, I quite like the English too. they can be rally nice when you get to know them. I'm touched by the way they call Britain England and impressed by their dedication to remembering the battle of Agincourt. When I tell them that the archers who won that battle were Welsh their eyes fill with tears of love for their western neighbours.

Bewlay Bros,
i have just spent 5 days with Raysparx and Mrs Raysparx in Wales and i have to say, apart from the wonderful company, (yes he is as lovely as he comes across as, more so in fact) the place was out of this world! I found the scenery absolutely breathtaking!
I didnt really come across any welsh folks but im sure they are the same as anywhere else! One thing i do know, they are lucky to live where they do, the part i visited anyway.

Anti Welsh - What about the Welsh being anti-English?
The majority of the Welsh I have met clearly do not like anything to do with the English and make it quite clear.

This is demonstrated when the Welsh would rather support a 'foreign' team (regardless of what country) than an English team when playing sports such as football, rugby etc?

I have witnessed, on many occasions, the Welsh actually willing the English to lose and being angry if they don't!
