Baking Powder sounds good, but I would lay off the lemon, the acid can't possibly do your teeth any good.

Bicarbonate of soda is the most popular alternative to toothpaste whitening. Salt and soot (not together!)were also popular at one time.

Lemon is good for teeth, my mum used to bite the lemon for that purpose.

strawberries are also very good, just rub them over your teeth - taste better than baking powder/bicarb anyway!!
