I went to the optician today and I was struck how similar the glasses seemed to be. I have chosen 2 pairs in different colours but they are basically the same style.

My husband chose a pair from 3 on his short list which were also very alike.

I can't believe it.

My glasses have two lenses at the front, and a side arm on each side.

Everyone else seems to have the same this year.

pretty much everyone i know who wears glasses has black or dark red rectangular frames. I guess there are only so many shapes glasses can be. i suppose rectangle ones are "young and trendy" maybe people ate worried about looking like Dierdre Barlow circa 1990. If i had to wear glasses, i'd like big 80's style Aviator ones. damn my great eyesight!
