It took about 6 months and I started to feel easier I also bought myself a magnetic bracelet to wear. It is a lot easier now so maybe this may help. Hope so as it is painful. Good luck
As you have been diagnosed with this as a medical condition, you will tell your employer and by law they have to ensure that they give you work that will not make the condition worse, even if they have to totally change the sort of work you do.
Aside from that, I know a friend of my mum's who has sworn by a copper bangle that she wears round her wrist. No idea why, but she says it has helped her.

Don't know what sex you are or your age - but I have arthritis in my shoulder, wrist, thumbs, fingers and also at top of my spine and used to suffer quite a lot but after I went on HRT I have been fairly pain free compared to what I was like before. My Gyny has kept me on HRT for over 15 years now for that reason, long after I should have come off it (and it also helps with memory, skin & hair). She checks me out once a year (blood tests, blood pressure etc) but see's no reason to take me off it if it is helping - she says she has other patients with arthritis who have found also that it helps.
