Hi, I just wanted to know if anyone has had any experiences of the above in helping to treat anxiety and stress?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.the list is endless, you just have to find out what works for you.personally I find long brisk walks help get rid of all that nervous energy.Any aerobic excercise generally releases endorphins too, and releases tension.Dont underestimate laughter, getting together with friends, seeing the humour in everything.Laughter reduces the stress hormone cortisol for instant results.The tip for stress is switching off from it on a daily basis, by trying an alterbative therapy-people dont look after their mental health as much as they should or realise how important it is.if you had an aching leg, would you keep jogging, waiting for it to get worse?If you are suffering from stress, first check if its only in the short-term, i.e. exams etc, and unavoidable.If its something like a stressful job, its advisable to deal with it before it gets out of hand.But try and spend at least one hour a day 'switching off' from whatever it is thats causing you the worry.you can never underestimate how beneficvail it can be.
Hi sandy, thanks for your advice. It is only short term, and is currently necessary-believe me if it was, for example, a full-time job getting me down this much, I would have acted on it long before now! I am just finding it hard to cope at the moment, even though it is only hopefully a brief spell.
You are absolutely right-mental health is key, and no=one should ever take it for granted!
